This week I presented at an e-learning conference - the focus for my group was 'Comic Life', Voicethread, and the Dvolver Movie Maker. The sessions were very productive, and the children greatly enjoyed using al of the apps in question.

Here's a thread that one of the kids made - it features a Comic Life comic on the theme of 'Going Green'.

Try browsing for 'film making' or çinema studies'- that might show you what's out there on your topic. I have a feeling that you do need to pause the VT when using the doodle tool though (in my experience anyway)

I am looking at using voicethread for teaching film as text. Can anyone say whether they have seen this done? Also can you make a comment on the film as it is playing or does it have to stop for the comment to be read or heard?
