I'll be starting a MultiMedia class for my high school students in January and plan to use VT to create a collaborative story telling/illustration project with grades 2/3 in an outlying school. Any thoughts or ideas on how to make this as smooth as possible?

Thanks Chris. Yes, I know you can do so much with a Wiki. I am wanting to create a project for my students that will be collaberating with other students in our school district then outside our school district.
I am looking at topics like-Dating Violence, STI's, Bullying, and Teen Pregnancy issues.

Hi Joseph, It seems you can embed just about anything on a wiki. I haven't tried VT. If you can get the html code I'm guessing you could get it to work.

Hi Everyone,
I have done a couple VT with my health classes. I have purchased the EdThread for $60.00 and find it to be a great option for us teachers in terms of the ability to organize your students in classes. However, I am at the point where I would like my students to communicate to other students at the high school level (In state or out of the country…).
Since I have the EdThread account; does that mean the other educator has to have an EdThread account as well? How do we connect with other schools/teachers…
Also, I am looking at trying to get a project done in VT using let’s say, on a Wiki… any ideas? Thoughts…
